Notes from LeRoy
Hello, Team
We are making progress in three areas at Stanford;
* I plan to visit METI, Inc. in Florida on Monday, to work on details for introducing
HPS code into the VR-ER, and we have a conference call set with Jay Anton of
METI and David Gaba on Friday, Feb.21, regarding this topic;
* Robert has preliminary display panels panels in the VR-ER that depict changing
heart rate, that responds to basic interventions activiated by touching specific
objects; he'll put this up soon;
* I have reviewed the literature, for another purpose, on studies with video
conferenceing, VR, etc. as tele-education efforts. This has been posted, too,
along with a story of a patient with tension pneumothorax in an ER.
We look forward to getting the conferencing setup established
for regular exchanges. (You may recall that Pat leaves for a month, after next
week, and that Sakti is in India for a two month visit and lecture series.)
Are you planning to equip your laptops for conferencing from your homes in
the evenings, or shall we make a schedule by which we shall meet during the
day (early/late cycles)?
Are you able to get the SimTech page?
Kingsley will work out and advise you how to post to the page. Then, you will
be able to post items of your development, as you have them.
