Evaluation Study to Begin
Virtual Emergency Department Study Participants in the Team Training
Exercise: We provide the following materials prepared by Dr. Phil Harter
for working effectively in the 3D-ED World. Please STUDY them ASAP, noting
the date, time and duration of your study. The VR-ED study will begin
as scheduled for four students on Tuesday, May 25th. Others are scheduled

remain in intact groups and show up for numerous training sessions conducted

Further to Calle's suggestion, I would like to organize a few sessions
at different times of the day. We can have a session for example when
it is morning in US and evening in Sweden or reverse, pm in US and am

Test audio with Calle in Sweden Kingsley and
Robert at Stanford. All three participants were in the Atmosphere world as well as the Talker environment. We were able to control the heart rate using the buttons in the Controls. The message was received by each of the participants so that the correct values were displayed on the screen. more...

at Stanford
We had four avatars in the world, plus all four in Talker. Li was able
to move around and transmit and receive audio. Li has a 3 Mbps connection,
so the problems with Calle could be due to the network. The audio quality
with Calle was still poor, and again he could interact with the world. more...
